Meet Dr. Sarah Eidelson

Dr. Sarah EidelsonDr. Sarah Eidelson is a highly skilled and compassionate physician who specializes in all aspects of Plastic Surgery, including Gender Affirmation, Aesthetics, Breast, and General Reconstruction. She has over 11 years of surgical training and is one of the few fellowship-trained gender-affirming surgeons in the country. She offers the full spectrum of top, bottom, body, and facial aesthetic procedures. 

Dr. Eidelson completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami in 2014, where she then completed a rigorous 7-year General Surgery program at the 2nd largest public hospital in the country. At the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, Dr. Eidelson was trained in all facets of surgery, including Surgical Oncology, Breast, Vascular, Bariatric, Colorectal, Transplant, Burn, and Endocrine Surgery. Additionally, she spent a large part of her training at the Ryder Trauma Center, one of the country’s busiest trauma and burn centers. 

During her General Surgery training, she was awarded nationally with the American Medical Women’s Association Elinor T. Christiansen Altruism Award. She also placed first at the national American College of Surgeons Surgical Skills Competition. Additionally, Dr. Eidelson was awarded an Excellence in Teaching from the United States Department of Defense for her assistance in mass casualty training. She then completed an independent Plastic Surgery residency at the highly competitive University of Southern California, where she worked with experts in all aspects of Plastic Surgery, including Microsurgery, Craniofacial, Hand, Gender Affirmation, General and Breast Reconstruction across several hospitals throughout Los Angeles.  During this time, she was fortunate to train in Beverly Hills under many leading world experts in Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation, and comprehensive cosmetic surgery.  Driven by her passion for caring for the LGBTQ community, Dr. Eidelson pursued a fellowship at GRS Montreal under the tutelage of world-renowned surgeon Dr. Pierre Brassard,  where she has completed over 500 gender-affirming procedures. 

Demonstrating her commitment to research and public health, Dr. Eidelson pursued a 2-year research fellowship in the Division of Trauma and Critical Care while obtaining a Master of Science in Public Health. She has authored and presented over 30 peer-reviewed journals and 75 abstracts nationally. 

Dr. Eidelson is known for her patient-centered approach to care. She believes in clear communication and works closely with each patient to understand their unique needs and goals. Her extensive training and ongoing research ensure she stays at the forefront of surgical techniques and patient care practices.
